Big haircut energy! This is my new favorite t-shirt and the kind of energy we’re bringing to the lymphoma fight.

Lymphoma has taken a lot over the past few weeks and it’s going to keep taking for the next few months. But I decided to take charge and cut my hair short before it falls out (yes, I’m going to lose my hair). I felt like it would be too traumatic to see it fall out at its regular length. I messaged Danny, my hairdresser to see if he could squeeze me in after I got out of the hospital to chop it all off. I asked him to tell Mira (his sweet dog) to be ready to be my heated weighted blanket during my shampoo. Mira always climbs in my lap for pets during my shampoo. It’s kind of like a little therapy session. Mira obliged me, as usual and I’m sporting a new ‘do!

My dance moms gave me some bee affirmations and today’s was Be Brave, Be Bold, Be you. I think that’s a great one for today and for the Bee Team in general.
