My sister came to spend the weekend with me post chemo. I had a little project I wanted to get done- hang my canvas gallery wall.

Our mom was having serious FOMO since she didn’t make the trip and we may or may not have engaged in a little torture.

We accomplished our goal of getting the gallery wall set up and I love it. It was nice to have a quiet weekend at home.

Sunday morning I started having some nausea that didn’t let up. Monday morning I called my oncologist’s office and they offered to have me come in for some IV fluids and meds that afternoon. I felt much better after that. At my next appointment(s)- one with the nurse practitioner and one with Dr. N, we made some adjustments for next round- first IV fluids going into the weekend (Mondays are my chemo day) after chemo. Tapering the steroids instead of stopping cold turkey. I’m so glad they are so responsive and flexible making adjustments when needed.
